The 2024 Buil Film Awards were held at Signiel Busan in Haeundae-gu, Busan, Korea on the afternoon of October 3. Actor Kim Dong-wook appeared as MC together with Go Ah-sung for this event.
The film “Revolver” won the first prize (Daesang) for best film. Han Jae-duk, CEO of the production company Men’s Pictures, gave the honor to the cast and expressed his gratitude to the protagonist, Jeon Do-yeon, saying: “This award was given to me thanks to Jeon Do-yeon.”
“This award is too heavy for me to bear alone” said Jung Woo-sung, who won best actor for “12.12: The Day.” “It was Hwang Jung-min who shed light on his anguish as the villain on Lee Tae-shin’s opposite side. I still think of Jung-min as Jeon Du-kwang. Thank you.”
Kim Geum-soon of “Jeong-sun” won the best actress award. “My heart is about to explode. Thank you for giving me such a precious prize.” he said, expressing his overwhelming feelings.
Lim Ji-yeon won the Best Supporting Actress award and said in her speech: “I won the Best New Actress award at the Buil Film Awards 10 years ago. Now I’m here for the first time in 10 years and I get the award for best supporting actress.” expressing his deep connection with the awards ceremony.
Additionally, Kim Young-sung of “Big Sleep” won the Best New Actor award and Jung Soo-jung of “Cobweb” won the Best New Actress award.
