Jung Hae-in, who appeared as a guest on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” on November 9, revealed various behind-the-scenes stories of his career, one of which is going to the Cannes Film Festival with his mother for the movie “Veteran 2”.

Jung Hae-in said: “I had the chance to go with my family to this event. (Hwang Jung-min) brought his son and I went with my mother, but I actually didn’t want my mother to come with me. It’s too much.

Jung Hae-in confessed about his relationship with his mother: “My mother brags about me somewhere, but I hate it so much I told her not to.” However, Jung Hae-in confessed that he changed his mind through conversations with Hwang Jung-min.

Meanwhile Jung told his mother that he wanted to go to Cannes with her. After much consideration, he said: “Let’s go together.” Then, due to some difficulties, Jung again refused to accompany his mother. However, Jung revealed that he was shaken by his mother’s sincere request and finally took a trip with mother and son there.

It was the best thing I did in 2024 (take my mother to Cannes). It was one of the best experiences of my acting life“, Jung said. “I appreciate the time I spend with my parents more.”

After the broadcast, netizens showed more interest in Jung Hae-in’s family as search keywords related to his background increased on portals. Jung Hae-in’s father was born in 1962 and runs an eye hospital in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, and his mother was born in 1960 and is a pathologist. Both are former students of Catholic Medical School and have worked as doctors.
