In today’s (October 9) episode of “You Quiz on the Block” (directed by Lee Ki-yeon, written by Lee Eon-joo), episode 264, guests include Yoo Gi-won, the fifth scribe of Korea South, three foreigners who have completed their “K-patch” (Korean adaptation) – Leo Ranta, Amarachi and Michael Laitman – and actor Jung Hae-in.
As Jung Hae-in approaches her 11th year in the acting industry, the episode chronicled her career journey, from her unforgettable first audition to her memorable roles as characters’ first loves in “Reply 1988” and “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God”. He will also talk about how difficult times, including dealing with hateful comments that caused insomnia and panic disorder, helped shape his career.

“In reality, even though I’m thirty-one years old, I’m still a kid.” Jung said. “I’m young. I hadn’t worked for a long time and I thought any snide comments or anything like that were all in the world.

There was a time when I thought about my very existence, and for a long time I didn’t leave the house, I lived as a solitary person, and I had a similar panic disorder, and I was afraid of meeting people.”
“So I read all the snide comments and asked myself, ‘What’s wrong with me?’” Jung said. “Now I know that there are people who support me, that there are people who are not interested in me, that there are people who hate me. I realized that.”
“At the time, I wanted to know why people didn’t like me, but there was no reason,” Jung Hae-in said. “They don’t just do it. There could be a reason. But what can I do if he doesn’t like me? I don’t like. I think it all started with trying to be loved by so many people, and after realizing that I couldn’t be loved by everyone, I thought, “Let’s do my best for those who love me and support me.”
