Jun Hyun Moo has become the latest public figure caught up in the growing “Injection Aunt” controversy that has rocked the South Korean entertainment industry. What started with comedian Park Na Rae now appears to be extending to other celebrities, including SHINee’s Key and popular mukbang YouTuber Short-Mouth Sun. Now, a photo of Jun receiving an IV in a car has reignited suspicions.
The image in question, from a previous episode of MBC’s I Live Alone, recently went viral in online communities. In the broadcast, Jun Hyun Moo is shown receiving an IV while moving in a framed vehicle at the time as a sign of his hectic schedule. However, in light of the ongoing scandal, viewers are revisiting the scene with a more critical eye.
The main issue stems from allegations that several celebrities received unlicensed medical treatment from a woman referred to as “Injection Aunt” (A), who reportedly illegally administered IVs, sleeping pills and antidepressants. These actions, especially when performed outside of certified medical institutions, constitute clear violations of South Korea’s medical laws.
Although YouTuber Lee Jin Ho had previously claimed that Jun Hyun Moo, Jang Do Yeon and Jung Jae Hyung were not involved with A, the reemergence of the I Live Alone scene has raised new doubts. While no direct evidence linked Jun to A, the timing and nature of the scene fueled online speculation.

The scandal continues to spread in the world of entertainment. After Park Na Rae’s alleged ties to A were exposed, SHINee’s Key resigned from all broadcasting activities, and YouTuber Short-Mouth Sun recently issued a public apology. Short-Mouth Sun admitted to using IVs, prescription drugs and medical devices allegedly supplied by A to aid his weight loss efforts.
As the “Injection Aunt” investigation unfolds, other celebrities may come under scrutiny, and questions remain about how widespread this unauthorized treatment may be within the industry.
