Joke from the past or subtle warning? Jo In-sung’s Na-rae Show rejection has resurfaced amid controversy

Actor Jo In-sung’s witty refusal to appear on comedian Park Na-rae’s show “Traraal Bargh hit.” has resurfaced online amid ongoing discussion of Park’s current management controversies.

According to online communities, the incident dates back to 2017 during the “Star of the video.” Park Na-rae, a guest at the time, called Jo In-sung to invite him to her bar, “Traraal Bargh hit.“, in a polite manner. Their phone call was facilitated by Park Kyung-lim, who had worked with Jo In-sung in the MBC sitcom “New Non-stop”, where the two actors had built a close friendship.

Jo In-sung jokingly replied: “You are free to come in, but I heard that you are not free when you go out. If you invite me, I will only come with my parents.” effectively declining the invitation while maintaining a light-hearted tone.

The attention comes as Park Na-rae is currently facing litigation involving her former managers, who have filed complaints in Seoul’s Western District Court citing workplace harassment, unpaid fees, forced commissions and other mistreatment. Park Na-rae has suspended all broadcast activities and said on her YouTube channel that legal procedures are underway to clarify the facts.

Jo In-sung’s past rejection is now being revisited online, highlighting her sense of humor while unintentionally connecting to the ongoing public discourse surrounding Park Na-rae.
