On August 6, the YouTube channel “John or Park” uploaded a video entitled “Behind the Scenes Di ‘Superstar K2’ After 15 years and recreation of legendary stages. “Hosted by the singer John Park, the series presents companions “Superstar K2” Alumni Kang Seung-Yoon (winner), Jang Jane, Huh Gak and Kim Ji-Soo while revisiting the dear moments of their time on the show. Everyone was members of the Top 11 and maintained their friendship for 15 years.
In the third episode, the group recalled iconic performances such as Jang Jane and Kim Ji-Soo’s “Cinderella”, Huh Gak’s “Running in The Sky” and “instinchably” by Kang Seung-Yoon, reliving the emotional highlights of the competition.
The conversation became touching when they remembered Park Bo-Ram, who tragically died on 11 April last year at the age of 30. It was found unconscious in the bathroom of the house of a knowledge and was running to the hospital but was not revived.
Discussing those who had considered the potential winners of the time, Ehh Gak named John Park, observing that the expectations of the public were high, given his background of American idol. John Park replied, “For the voice, it was Ehh Gak. For the musicality, it was Jang Jane. And the dark horse was Park Bo-Ram.” While the archival movies of Park sing “When time passes”, he reflected, “Even in such a young age, he sang so well. I performed next to those three, I really admired them.”
