On January 18, Jo Jung Suk shared a handwritten letter via his YouTube channel Cheonggyesan Daengi Records who operates under his alter ego “Jo Jeom Seok”. In the letter he personally communicated the news of welcoming another daughter.
“I have some great news to share. Another great happiness has come to me,” Jo Jung Suk wrote, adding, “Daengi’s little brother is born!” She revealed that her second daughter was born on January 14.
Jo Jung Suk explained that he will be taking a short break from uploading content to YouTube to focus on taking care of children. “For now it looks like it will be difficult to upload videos because I will be focusing on raising my son. I wanted to let you know in advance,” he shared. He reassured fans by adding: “I will rest a bit and return as soon as possible.”
Hinting at future content, Jo Jung Suk also expressed confidence that his return will bring even more engaging stories. “When I come back, I think I will be able to share even more interesting videos with new stories,” he wrote, building anticipation for behind-the-scenes episodes related to his growing family.
Previously, Jo Jung Suk had said in interviews that if a second child was born, he planned to take on the primary responsibility of caring for the first child. True to his word, he has now officially entered a hiatus focused on childcare.
Jo Jung Suk married Gummy in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first daughter, Ye-won, in 2020. With the arrival of his second daughter, the actor is prioritizing time spent with his family before resuming his professional activities.
