Jisoo di Blackpink has announced an agreement with the label with Warner Records, revealing simultaneously that the company will publish its mini solo album of debut, Shock.
The debut of Jisoo, who launches the day of Valentine’s Day on February 14, will be the last of the members of Blackpink.
“I am enthusiastic about this new era and the continuation of my musical journey,” he said in a note.
“I feel like myself just starting and I would like to thank the Blinks for all their love and support. This is only the beginning and I am excited to start the seismic moment with Warner Records.”
The Blackpink singer had previously announced details on Shock In an Instagram post.
The post reveals the next promotion program for the project, including the album cover, the tracklist and the music video output dates.
Jisoo is the last member of the women’s group to sign an exclusive solo agreement. He formed his Blisseo label after moving away from an exclusive solo contract with the Korean label, YG Entertainment.
The members of Blackpink, however, extended the contract with the label for group activities, but nobody has returned to the solo hours.
