On display seven drawings by Dior’s creative directors, the pictorial pays homage to the inheritance of the fashion house, including the iconic New look 1947One of Christian Dior’s first design that remains a timeless symbol of elegance. In addition to fashion, Jisoo reflects on his solo music, a career as an actor and personal philosophy in this exclusive interview.
How did you hear lately?
“Last year it was a vortex, with back-to-back projects finally revealed. It seems to me a little chaotic and not organized in my mind, but at the same time, I am proud to see everything together.”
Two years later “Me”, you released your second solo album “Amortage”.
“Like the title of the album, which combines” Amour “(love) and” Montage “, I wanted to capture growth through love and cracks. I hoped that it seemed to me a well -made film, playing the journey of love and separation. I am grateful that so many people have understood and embraced the meaning behind it.”
The music video for “Earthquake” introduced Geek-Chic and Rock-Chic styles. What concept was your favorite?
“I loved the concept of geek-chic in the office scene! I wanted to visually express how strong emotions they can hit unexpectedly, and I think that the scene caught it well. The filming with the glasses were also a fun experience.”
Which part of the album production process do you like best?
“Explore new genres. In music, fashion or music videos, trying something for the first time is like completing a search and I love the thrill.”
You launched your label, Blisseo and made all the main decisions for this album. How was the management of a company?
“Sometimes, knowing that so many people rely on me they seem a great responsibility. But instead of concentrating only on the tasks at hand, I want to create an environment in which everyone enjoy the process, so I’m working even more.”
“Newtopia” showed your bold and fearless side. What did you take away from that project?
“Working with fantastic people taught me a lot. Look at my character, Young-Joo, push through difficult situations without hesitation has also inspired me personally.”
Currently you are turning the drama of 2026 “Boyfriend on demand”, which is located in a virtual world. What are you motivating to face so many projects?
“I want to experience different perspectives through roles that contrast with my personality and values. It is also a way to show various sides of myself.”
Was there a particularly exciting moment in your actor career?
“The final scene of”Snowdrop‘It was incredibly difficult and heartbreaking. Thinking about Young-Rro who continued despite his immense loss made me snatch naturally. “
Blackpink has announced a world tour. How do you feel to gather with your group companions on stage?
“The best part is to have friends with whom to share the experience. After working alone for so long, I miss traveling and eating with the members. Above all, I am enthusiastic about seeing the eyelids that have waited so patiently. The biggest challenge will be to maintain my resistance, so I will focus on physical form and self -care during the tour.”
Looking back to your nine -year career, what do you consider your biggest success?
“Blackpink. This will never change.”
If I could go back in time and change something, what would it be?
“I have no regrets. I just want to continue growing and showing my best self.”
You said you accept what has happened and let negativity easily go. But how do they face when things get difficult?
“I write. Express my thoughts on paper helps me to elaborate and release emotions.”
Is there anything you fear?
“Not really. I don’t suffer on the past or don’t worry about the future.”
What makes you happy?
“I find happiness easily. Enjoy delicious food, take a walk on a beautiful day: simpler things bring me the greatest joy.”
What more do you appreciate in relationships, both in friendships and in work?
“Rather than focusing on the behavior of others, I try to do nothing that I don’t like it personally. It’s important for me.”
What is a quality you admire in others?
“The ability to recognize things openly and honestly.”
What is a personal goal that you hope to achieve this year?
“I want to find a significant hobby to make the most of my free time.”
