Jessi showed up at Gangnam Police Station on October 16 at around 10pm for questioning related to the viral incident in which a teenage fan was allegedly assaulted.
The fan, who had approached Jessi for a photo, was reportedly attacked by a man from her group.
After arriving at the station, Jessi briefly addressed the media. Dressed in a zip-up sweatshirt and a black cap, she answered some questions from reporters.
I hope they find the person who hit them soon. I hope they get punished. I’ll tell him [the police] everything as it happened. It was the first time I had seen the attacker that day.

However, she refused to answer further questions about the incident, such as why she did not actively intervene during the altercation. After her brief comments, she entered the police station for questioning.
Jessi’s presence at the police station was requested after the September 29 incident. While hanging out with friends in Gangnam’s Apujeong area, a teenage fan approached Jessi for a photo. One of the men who was accompanying Jessi at the time attacked the fan. The attack was captured on CCTV footage, which has since gone viral.
