A video titled “The Secret of STAYC?! TWICE’s Jeongyeon Spills It All (First-Ever Dorm Reveal) has been uploaded to the YouTube channel “Inspector”.
In the video, the group STAYC appeared as guests, showing great chemistry with TWICE’s Jeongyeon.
Jeongyeon mentioned “Hey, there was a JYP intern among you, right?“and said to J:”I don’t think our internship periods overlapped.”
They also talked about their common bond: producer Rado. STAYC asked: “Did you tell any behind-the-scenes stories while recording with him?” Jeongyeon replied: “How are you? Is it still really… a little full?“STAYC said:”Really try to make the atmosphere comfortable.” To this, Jeongyeon replied “Truly? He must behave differently“, revealing his feelings of disappointment.
Jeongyeon asked, “Since he’s your boss… he was really hard on us. The atmosphere was intense. How long did each person record?” STAYC revealed “Now, for us, if it’s fast, 30 minutes. What if it takes a long time, like an hour?“, shocking Jeongyeon.
Surprised, Jeongyeon said, “Maybe it’s because you guys are so good. There was a time when we spent 4 hours on a single line.” STAYC shared: “We think we heard about it from the manufacturer Rado.”
Jeongyeon recalled, “In TWICE’s “TT”, for “The Phone Bell Rings Like Every Other Day”, Nayeon took 4 hours to record it.”
STAYC shared: “Since it gives us very precise directions, we have become very used to it. So now, when they work with other composers, they say, “Just do it,” “Do it comfortably.” And we miss out on so much when they do. We thought, “Rado really brings out the best of our strengths.”“
Hearing this, Jeongyeon moaned ironically “I’m totally disappointed! Who behaves differently from others“, making everyone laugh.
