On January 10, BLACKPINK’s Jennie took home three major awards at the 40th Gold Record Award with Upbitheld at the iconic Taipei Dome, the first K-pop awards show ever hosted at the venue.
Jennie was awarded the Digital Song Division Bonsang (main award) for her solo achievements, a Bonsang with BLACKPINK, and the Global Impact Award (PRIZM), marking an impressive triple win in one evening.
In her solo acceptance speech, Jennie was beaming as she said: “It’s been so long since I last attended the Gold Record Awardsso I’m really grateful to receive this. I want to thank many people, especially our fans.”
Later, when receiving the group award on behalf of BLACKPINK, Jennie looked into the crowd and asked warmly: “Are you watching, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa?” He continued, “We received so much love for our song ‘Ddu-du’ and I’m really happy.”

Although she was the only BLACKPINK member in attendance, Jennie made sure to include her other members in this moment: “Even though they are not here, I know they are happy too. I will accept this award on behalf of all of us.” he said, before also thanking longtime producer Teddy.
Adding to the evening’s performance, Jennie returned to the stage once again to accept the Word PRIZM Global Impact Award, sealing her triple crown victory.
Other K-pop giants such as IVE, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, ENHYPEN and ZEROBASEONE were also present, making this year’s edition Gold Record Awards an unforgettable celebration. Celebrities such as Song Joong Ki, Byun Woo Seok and Ahn Hyo Seop also took to the stage as emcees, amplifying the star-studded energy of the event.
