Jennie and Zico built a strong friendship through their collaboration on the song “SPOT!”. Previously, BLACKPINK’s Zico and Jennie held a joint live broadcast on April 26 to talk about the release of Zico’s new song “Spot!” during the day. The broadcast was watched by more than 110,000 fans, and BLACKPINK member Lisa also appeared in the chat room, commenting, “It’s me.”
Zico’s new song “Spot!” featuring Jennie is a hip-hop song about the unvarnished moments of two friends who met by chance at a late night party. Zico explained, “I want to create a song that people can’t get tired of even if they play it over and over again.”
