BLACKPINK Jennie created a frenzy after showing off her new bob for the first time since her debut. However, some were not impressed.
On September 19, fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar US presented the photoshoot of Jennie, who will appear on the cover of the October issue.
In the photos, the global superstar showed off various looks from luxury brands, from a jumpsuit that showed off her slim figure to a corset dress and oversized fur hats, which demonstrated her status as a world-famous fashion icon.

But what caught her attention the most was her hairstyle, a short hair debut, long awaited by K-pop and beauty lovers.
Since her debut in 2016, Jennie has always had long hair and the shortest cut was when she cut it to her shoulders. This time, she finally showed off a bob, which gave her a sensual allure, in addition to wearing a fishnet jumpsuit, a leather bra and pants.
After the photoshoot, Jennie received admiration from BLINKs and Rubies, who praised how she always manages to surpass fashion standards and achieve perfect results every time.

On the other hand, there are disappointed K-Netz who think her short hair was of no use and left comments like:
- “Now I really understand why she insists on having long hair most of the time.”
- “You looked just like an old lady, short hair is forbidden.”
- “Put some clothes on, it will be much better.”
- “Why do you have short hair?”
- “This is a total disaster. Jennie, don’t use the term sexy. It doesn’t suit you. You look like a grade schooler wearing sexy clothes.”
- “It doesn’t suit you at all. You’re like an ajumma.”
- “If you have short hair, proportions are really important.”
