BlackpinkJennie spoke candidly for the first time from the group’s return to member activities, sharing his fears, reflections and love for the performance with its members.
In a recent cover and interview with the French fashion magazine CR Fashion Book, Jennie confessed: “I have many fears. I don’t like being the same for too long. I fear that if I don’t go on and change, I won’t be able to see the life that is right in front of me.”
Jennie recalled her journey from a normal girl to Auckland, New Zealand, who once dreamed of becoming a lawyer or teacher, to discover her passion for music at the age of 14. He sent a video of herself singing Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” to YG Entertainment, which in the end led her to become a trainee.
“Then, it seemed that everyone was chasing their dreams. I was too. I didn’t really understand the pressure to enter the music industry: I was simply following what I loved”, He explained.
Blackpink Since then he has achieved unprecedented global success. Reflecting on their return, Jennie said: “We are children who live the happiest moment of our life. Sometimes I see videos that fans publish and I am surprised by how much I have fun. I thought it would have changed after a year and a half of work as a soloist, but nothing has really changed. Being on stage with the members seems to go home.”
She added: “I want to accept myself more fully and know more about who I am. I will follow my heart.”
