Finally, a dream came true for J-Hope when, before his enlistment, he released the single “on the street”, featuring his longtime idol.
… J-Hope wrote the track to share his heartfelt feelings towards his fans. The title “on the street” refers to J-Hope’s roots, street dance, where his dream of becoming an artist began, and the path that the artist and fans will continue to travel together.
We hope that J-Hope’s “on the street” will be a meaningful gift to everyone who supports the artist. Looking forward to J-Hope’s new song!

It appears the two built a friendship during that time, as J. Cole featured a shoutout in his new song.
American rapper Tee Grizzley I just released “Blow for Blow,” featuring J. Cole. Especially J. Cole’s verses made ARMYs do a double take.
J. Cole rapped, “I stay hot, doing numbers like K-Pop BTS in the flesh while they fail.” This immediately caught the ARMYs’ attention.
