Izna (이즈나) is a seven-member pre-debut South Korean girl group under WAKEONE Entertainment. The group includes Mai, Jeemin, Jiyoon, Koko, Sarang, Jungeun and Saebi. Izna was trained through the survival program I-LAND2: N/aa collaboration with producer Teddy and THEBLACKLABEL. The group’s debut is scheduled for late 2024.
Overview of the Izna formation
I-LAND2: N/a premiered on April 18, 2024, with the live finale airing on July 4, 2024, where the top seven winners formed the girl group Izna. The lineup was chosen by taking the top five contestants voted by I-MATE: Choi Jungeun, Bang Jeemin, Yoon Jiyoon, Koko and Ryu Sarang, along with two chosen producers: Mai and Jeong Saebi.
THE I-LAND 2 the finale brought some unexpected moments that surprised many viewers. IZNA was originally thought to be a six-member group. However, the judges took the audience by surprise when they announced that another member would be added to the lineup.
On the other hand, one of the fan-favorite contestants, Fuko, a WakeOne trainee who performed exceptionally well in almost every round of I-LAND 2he did not make IZNA’s debut lineup.
Among the top seven winners, Jeemin had previously competed in the survival show RU NEXT?while Jungeun was a contestant CAP-TEEN.
IZNA will make their debut as a group at KCON LA on July 28, 2024.
Meaning of the group name permit
The group’s name comes from the words “Anytime, Anywhere, Anything”, which conveys a sense of trust and security.

Album
Izna has revealed the tracklist of their first mini-album, N/aon November 11th via their official SNS channels. According to the tracklist, the mini-album includes a total of five songs: the title track “IZNA,” along with “TIMEBOMB,” “IWALY (I Will Always Love You),” “DRIP,” and “FAKE IT.”
In particular, world-class producer Teddy, known for creating numerous K-pop hits, contributed to the title track “IZNA” and “TIMEBOMB”, adding a high level of polish to the album. Also, the producers of THEBLACKLABEL, who have been working with Izna ever since I-LAND2he also contributed to the album’s production.
This mini-album also includes Izna’s versions of the I-LAND2 the missionary songs “IWALY”, “DRIP” and “FAKE IT”, showing their strengthened synergy and new charm that should captivate fans around the world.
The first mini-album, N/aembodies the journey of these girls with unlimited potential as they push their limits, overcome fears and embark on a challenge in a new world. With a title track that shares the group’s name, Izna is ready to boldly enter the music scene with unwavering confidence.
