The show will premiere on YouTube on April 7th “Salon drip” featured the main cast of MBC’s upcoming drama Wife of the Grand Prince of the 21st centuryincluding IU, Byeon Woo Seok, Noh Sang Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon.
During the teaser, host Jang Do Yeon brought up the now-viral topic “kiss the wall scene.” In response, Byeon Woo Seok jokingly explained: “Our noses are touching. And since it was hot, they were a little humid…”
IU added laughing: “There were nose marks left on my cheek.”
When asked how many times they filmed the kissing scene, IU surprised everyone by saying: “I lost count: We filmed it so many times.”
Byeon Woo Seok agreed, confirming, “We really did that scene a lot.”
Their honest and playful comments have heightened anticipation for the drama, especially when it comes to their on-screen chemistry.
“Perfect crown”is set in a modern constitutional monarchy and tells the story of a wealthy woman, Seong Hee Joo (IU), frustrated with her status as a commoner, and Prince Ian (Byeon Woo Seok), a royal who has nothing despite his title. The series follows their journey to challenge social barriers and pursue love.
The drama is scheduled to premiere on April 10 at 9:40 pm KST.
