IU Gets ‘Reported’ to CIA for Supporting Protests During Billboard Scam That Got Uaenas Trolled: ‘Queen of Duality’

IU has been on a roll this December since the “Palette” singer trended with her latest hit on Billboard. However, her success did not remain unscathed, as the singer was “reported” by the antis to the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency).

On December 17, IU was named “Artist of the Year” by Billboard. The magazine mentioned how “irreplaceable” IU was thanks to her cross-generational following, versatility in entertainment, film and music, along with her unconditional love for her domestic and international fans.

“I believe the support I have received reflects an appreciation for my consistent hard work,” IU acknowledged in a highlight reel.

The news immediately made waves in the K-pop community and fans were more than proud of the “Love wins all” singer.

Unfortunately, some have decided to report IU to the CIA for her early actions during the impeachment protests in South Korea. The author shared a letter addressed to the organization.

“Hello CIA staff. Thank you for working so hard every single day. I am sending you this message to report a Korean singer named IU,” it read.

“His real name is Lee Ji Eun. He recently showed support for the impeachment of the South Korean president. He also provided food to protesters who support the impeachment of the South Korean president.”

The letter continued: “It seems to me that she is taking the initiative to help protests against Korea’s impeachment. She is a famous Korean singer and has great influence.”

In the comments, K-Uaenas scoffed at the complaint and expressed how ridiculous the report was.

“This will go straight to the CIA spam folder,” one fan shared.

Another commented, “They really are doing anything at this point.”

“They won’t even read it,” said a third.

Meanwhile, in a separate forum, the UAE trolled the letter.

One fan hilariously remarked, “I was selected for this and reported to the CIA in the same week. A queen of duality.”

“CIA Watchlist, Billboard No. 1 Artist, When Will They Be Your Favorites?” a second fan blew.

One prompted sarcasm: “OMG congrats, this (Billboard) news will make her feel better before she gets sent to prison by the CIA.”
