In the last episode of the popular musical talk show of IU, G-Dragon made a rare appearance for guests, marking his return to the spotlight following his recent ads on new music. The episode was particularly special, as they have been their first official interaction on the screen for years.
From the beginning, Iu expressed surprise when he learned that G-Dragon had mentioned embarrassing around her in a pre-interview. However, he reassured it quickly, saying, “I don’t [feel awkward around you]! Didn’t we get very close to before? ”
The two then affected their first meeting in seven years at the 2023 concert in 2023, where surprisingly they felt at ease despite time apart. G-Dragon explained his thought process behind the update of the texts, remembering the original vision of IU for the song. “At the time, when you were making the song, you said you wanted to leave some songs for certain centuries. At the time, we had thirty and twenty -five years. We sang it at a very nice age. But now …” Ended with a laugh before adding, “So I thought a lot about what to say [in the new lyrics.]”
