UI AND Byun Woo Seok it is confirmed that they will star in an upcoming romantic K-Drama.
In an official statement from Kakao entertainmentboth IU and Byun Woo Seok are confirmed for MBC’s upcoming K-Drama The prince’s wife of the 21st century. The K-Drama will tell the story of a chaebol woman who has everything except within society, appears as if she is a normal citizen and a sad man because while he is the son of a king, he has nothing.
IU will play the female lead role of Sung Hee Joo, the second daughter of a conglomerate and is full of beauty, brilliance and desire to stand out in everything she does. Byun Woo Seok will play the male lead role of Prince Ian, the king’s second son who has his status as king but nothing else. However, things change when the two meet for the first time.
The prince’s wife of the 21st century will be broadcast via MBC in the second half of 2025.
