On the October 24 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo” radio show, ITZY members appeared as guests.
DJ Park Myung-soo commented on their continued popularity 6 years after their debut, saying: “Your parents must be proud of your success” and asked each member how they had shown filial piety towards their parents.
Chaeryeong replied, “I call them often and text them. I had previously sent my mother and younger sister on a trip to Europe and decided to send them again this time too. Ryujin added, “I bought a watch for my mom with my bonus” while Yuna mentioned, “I invited my parents to a European tour, where we enjoyed the concert together, and my mother cried after seeing it.”
Park Myung-soo then remarked: “Daughters often seem a little uncomfortable with their fathers,” prompting members to ask, “Is your daughter distant from you?”
Park Myung-soo replied, “My daughter is in high school. It’s a difficult time for her and I don’t know how to approach her. I want to hug her and tell her I love her, but she rejects it,” which brought laughter from the audience.
