Before the end of 2024, SM Entertainment will introduce a new K-pop girl group in about 4 years since aespa took off in 2020.

Ahead of their long-awaited entry into the K-pop scene, fans and netizens have been sharing limited and rare glimpses of the members who have remained hidden until now.

In a new update, Weibo insiders shared a photo of nine idol trainees who appeared to be doing a dance cover of SNSD’s “Gee.” Even though their faces were blurry, they ignited the excitement as they already looked like a group with their proportions and vibe complementing each other.

In footage from what appears to be a film studio, the faces of two members have been revealed, and although they are still nameless, Chinese and international fans cannot hide their joy at seeing the members’ extraordinary beauty.

Among the viral members, an intern’s side profile has become a hot topic due to her resemblance to Red Velvet Irene and people couldn’t agree more!

So far there is only little information about the group, but there are rumors that it will be a multinational company and this time SM Entertainment will have members from Southeast Asia.

Unfortunately, K-pop fans won’t be able to see one of the long-awaited trainees Na Ha Eun as a member of the girl group after she leaves around June. She moved to Highup Entertainment in September and is preparing to debut with STAYC’s next junior group.
