Something went very wrong…
RIIZEInternational fans of – who are mostly OT7 and in favor of Seunghan’s return to the group – have recently made several attempts to protest the former member’s removal. However, something went wrong during their latest protest.
A fan base created by the group’s American fans recently attempted to send trucks to one of the brands RIIZE has deals with National Geographic clothingdemanding the return of member Seunghan. However, some trucks were mistakenly taken to the wrong address, in front of a building associated with the Discovery brand instead.
The trucks reportedly contained messages thanking RIIZE’s brand partners for their support, but asking them to disassociate themselves from the group’s agency, SM Entertainment, due to alleged failures to protect artists from bullying. Fans hoped to “amplify their noise” and demand Seunghan’s return to the group.
We would like to ask you not to affiliate with SM as it goes against the brand’s policy regarding bullying. The company’s failure to protect their artists demonstrates their negligence. As a trusted brand, help us amplify our noise and demand Seunghan’s return to RIIZE. Sales are expected to increase in the next quarter with Seunghan’s return.

Today we sent our truck to two brands,

The words displayed on the truck were:
“As your consumers we thank you for supporting Riize, however we would like to ask you not… pic.twitter.com/t9MR06xr4e— RIIZEUSA (@RIIZEUSACENTRE) October 30, 2024
While the intended message was transported via a second truck sent to the correct location (according to organizers), the initial mix-up went viral online, drawing ridicule from Korean netizens, who are against Seunghan’s return.
- “Looks like the solo debut isn’t even on the cards.”
- “Wait, do they even know where they’re going? It’s so funny.
- “Discovery: What is this? Who are you?”
- “I saw the headline and thought, ‘What’s going on?’ so I clicked.
- “Did the truck driver enter the wrong address? “
- “Wait, in my head Byun Woo Seok is for discovery ads… isn’t RISE for National Geographic? I went in thinking that, but… absolutely not.”
- “What a waste of money”
- “What are they doing? Are they trying to be funny or something?”
Organizers have since corrected the error, clarifying that the opening speech was provided by their Korean fans and that “mistakes happen.” They promised that they would send more trucks the next day after double checking the addresses.
However, the organizers also defiantly rejected the criticism, stating that they “don’t care about OT6 [fans’] opinions” and that “the whole world is literally making fun of them, and they are an embarrassment to the K-Pop community!”
Hey guys, I just took a break from work and came back to our notifications that have been blowing up, we would like to clarify that the address was sent by our Korean fans however we don’t blame anyone as errors can happen, 2nd truck has been sent to the right location, so our message was…
