An internal report revealed the following.

On October 24, 2024, MOVES the representatives participated in an audit with the National Assembly. During the audit, internal documents were disclosed which did not only concern HYBE groups, but also contained observations on groups of other companies.
These revelations sparked a significant reaction on social media. One particular document exposed HYBE’s alleged strategies for negative media targeting groups SM Entertainmentfor example aespa AND RIIZEas well as that of JYP Entertainment NMIXX. The document allegedly outlined plans to criticize aespa’s live singing at Coachella, circulate old photos of a RIIZE member, and accuse NMIXX of appealing to feminists.
In particular, the alleged plans for RIIZE have attracted strong negative reaction due to the recent issue regarding the former member Seunghan. Seunghan decided to leave the group in October 2024 after a long hiatus, given the controversy surrounding his pre-debut photos and personal life.

During the audit, a document entitled “Report on the Music Industry” was released.
An article from Korean outlet Sports Kyunghyang about the audit reported that there appeared to be plans in the article to generate negative news about SM Entertainment groups.
They mentioned the SM Entertainment group [redacted]writing “You can counter any attack made on [HYBE group, redacted] using [SM Entertainment group, redacted] as a shield. When someone says a member is ugly, you can respond with the member [name redacted] pre-debut photo, or say that [name redacted] he can’t dance and is stiff as he shows clips of it. This is a model already well used on DC Inside.

The number of syllables in the deleted names has led fans to suspect that it is related to RIIZE, and Seunghan in particular.

Seunghan not only faced problems with pre-debut photos, other member So he was targeted by such issues even when his past photos were released.

Because all names were redacted from the original report publicized during the audit due to privacy concerns, the specific group and members have not been confirmed. HYBE has since denied the matter in a now-deleted statement.
