According to his Instagram account, It sucks is a Yale-educated singer, actor, dancer, and behavioral scientist.

The song, titled “Kadar Na Jaane,” was actually released on September 11, but didn’t catch the attention of K-Pop fans until October, when netizens noticed the similarities.

The video’s description appears to directly acknowledge these allegations, stating that the video was “inspired” by K-Pop music videos.

I’m back with a brand new music video that will sweep you away and take you on a visual adventure like no other. This is inspired by the KPop music videos of some amazing female groups and artists. We wanted to recreate and play with the worlds they built, introducing them to India for the first time. This will definitely keep you entertained 😉 🎶💃 Are you there?

While taking inspiration is one thing, many were uncomfortable with the level of similarities found in Ipsitaa’s video and pointed this out in the video’s comments.

Regardless of whether or not this was done on purpose to get the attention of K-Pop fans or not, the video seems to have succeeded in this regard.
