Idol’s concert at the Kia Forum sells out in a record-breaking 15 minutes

SHINee Taemin’s “EPHEMERAL GAZE” world tour sold out all its stops in the United States. But the most notable achievement was his venue at the Kia Forum, which seats approximately 18,000, selling out concert tickets in just 15 minutes!

On December 13, tickets went on sale for the US leg of Taemin’s solo tour, which included venues at the King’s Theater (New York), the Chicago Theater (Chicago), the Smart Financial Center (Houston), the Paramount Theater (Oakland) and the Kia Forum. (Los Angeles).

In less than 20 minutes, all stages were declared sold out, garnering immense praise from Shawols (SHINee fandom) and the K-pop community.

What was even more impressive was the rapid sell-out of tickets in just 15 minutes for the Kia Forum stop, which has a capacity of 17,505 seats, Taemin’s largest concert hall so far.

It’s also worth noting that the “WANT” hitmaker sold over 70,000 tickets for his stops in LATAM, Europe and the United States in less than two weeks.

Following this monumental feat, fans celebrated on social media and praised Taemin for his ticket-selling power as a solo artist.

Meanwhile, some also criticized Taemin’s former label SM Entertainment and those who allegedly doubted the singer.

Taemin’s “Ephemeral Gaze” world tour kicked off from August 31 to September 1 in Incheon, with its final stop in 2024 in Manila last November.

The world tour will continue in Macau starting January 4, 2025 and conclude in March in Paris.
