“I don’t think you did your best…”

NewJeans Hanni expressed her frustrations directly to CEO Kim Joo Young, the one who replaced Min Hee Jin, regarding the way he is handling the case against the Belift laboratory and the ILLIT manager.

On October 15, the state audit of the Committee on Environment and Labor of the National Assembly took place together with NewJeans Hanni as a witness on his topic “Mobbing and harassment in the workplace”.

On the same day, Kim Joo Young, CEO of ADOR, appeared as a point person and revealed what happened with the case against a Belift Lab employee who tried to discriminate against Hanni by telling ILLIT to “ignore her.”

During interrogation, Kim said that she immediately asked for the CCTV footage of the incident in question (from HYBE) when she was informed about it on June 13.

However, just as stated in Belift Lab’s official statement, the entire footage could not be recovered as the incident exceeded HYBE’s CCTV retention period.

CEO Kim told attendees that he had done his best but was unable to provide concrete evidence and added:

“Unfortunately, according to what I currently know internally, our statements are conflicting. I believe Hanni’s words and claims, and I am also frustrated and trying to find supporting evidence. Unfortunately, I have not been able to secure ( CCTV footage).

She once again said she did her best, but regretted areas where she could have done better.

Hearing this, Hanni openly called her and protested:

“I’m sorry, but I don’t think you did your best.”

The “OMG” singer explained:

“There were many things he could have done and he said from the beginning that he would protect us continuously, but in order to do so he would fight. But he has no desire to fight, no actions, no measures and no will to do so, so I don’t think you can say you did your best.”

Hanni then called on ADOR’s CEO to do better and asked:

“If I say I want you to do your best in the future, it seems like we will get over it, so I hope you will solve this problem quickly before talking about the future.”
