Miyeon of girl group i-dle has revealed the full tracklist of her second solo mini-album MY, lover on October 23 at midnight KST, marking the final details of his highly anticipated solo return.
The seven-track album will arrive on November 3 at 6 PM KST, more than three years after releasing his debut solo album in April 2022.
The tracklist reveals a diverse collection of tracksincluding “Reno (feat. Colde)”, “Say My Name”, “FFLY”, “Space Invader”, “You And No One Else”, “Petal Shower” and “Show”. The album explores love from multiple perspectives, featuring MY, lover serves as the second installment of Miyeon’s “MY” series documenting her personal journey as a solo artist.
The promotional campaign focuses on a pink matchbox and matchstick motif, symbolizing the passionate spark of love that Miyeon intends to convey. A previously released introductory film featured emotional images that captured the complexity of relationships through extreme temperature contrasts, melting chairs and ice cream representing the passionate beginning of love, while lightning and raindrops symbolized the pain of separation.
Miyeon’s agency, Cube Entertainment, previously released a comprehensive promotional schedule indicating that various teasers, including concept photos, audio snippets, and a music video preview, will be launched starting October 22nd. A pre-release track is also scheduled to be released on October 28, building momentum ahead of the full album’s release.
The singer has demonstrated her growth as a songwriter in recent years, most notably through her self-composed digital single “Sky Walking,” released in August, which combined bold basslines with ’80s-inspired synth and guitar elements. He also contributed to the writing and composition of “Unstoppable”, a track from i-dle’s eighth mini-album “We Are” released in May.
Physical copies of MY, lover Come packaged featuring a 108-page photo book, temperature change bookmark, stickers, postcards, passport photos, Polaroids and photo cards, with a vinyl edition also available via pre-order. The physical release of the album will follow in digital format on November 4th
As the lead singer of i-dle, known for hit singles including “Latata”, “Tomboy” and “Nxde”, Miyeon has continued to expand her creative reach through music, acting and broadcasting throughout her career. MY, lover should show his more mature sensibilities through the exploration of romantic themes.
