K-pop soloist HyunA sparked concern after collapsing on stage during her performance at Water bomb 2025 Macau held on November 9th at the Outdoor Performance Venue in Macau. The accident occurred while he was performing his iconic hit “Bubble Pop”.
During the performance, HyunA suddenly lost consciousness in the middle of the choreography and fell to the floor. Backup dancers immediately rushed to her aid and security personnel carried her off stage. Her legs were discreetly covered by dancers as she was escorted away, underlining the urgency and shock of the situation.

The incident quickly spread across social media, and fans flooded HyunA’s Instagram with concerned comments such as: “Unnie, are you okay?” AND “Please take care of your health.”

This comes shortly after HyunA publicly shared her dramatic weight loss journey. Amid rumors of pregnancy due to recent weight gain, HyunA announced a strict diet on October 3. By November 5, he revealed that his weight had dropped to 49.88 kg, indicating a weight loss of about 10 kilograms in a short period. Fans have begun to speculate that the intense diet may have contributed to his collapse.

In response, HyunA then addressed the incident on Instagram, saying she was exhausted from back-to-back performances and apologized for not showing a stronger image. “I’m fine now. I’ll work to regain my strength” he reassured fans.
Health experts suggest that sudden and extreme weight loss combined with demanding performance can cause fatigue, dehydration and even fainting. HyunA’s case has reignited discussions about the physical demands placed on K-pop idols, particularly regarding weight control, performance pressure and recovery time.
This event serves as a critical reminder of the ongoing health risks in the entertainment industry, where image and stamina are constantly under pressure. While fans wish HyunA a speedy recovery, many are calling for more responsible practices and support systems for artists facing similar pressures.
