Hyoyeon recalled the times SNSD “excluded” her from the group, jokingly instigating bullying issues among the members. In response, Sooyoung explained her side of the story.
On September 4, episode 10 of “Hyoyeon Who Buys Us Food Well” was uploaded to the official YouTube channel “Hyo’s Level Up”.
On this day, her fellow Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung was also invited as a guest, and she shared various anecdotes about the 17-year-old “Nation’s Girl Group”.
Speaking on the topic of alcohol, Hyoyeon talked about Sooyoung’s winery trip with fellow SNSD members YoonA, Yuri, and Tiffany, and revealed that they are heavy drinkers.
Remembering this, Hyoyeon confessed that she wanted to go at that time, then accused SNSD of excluding her.
However, Sooyoung explained:
“So he wasn’t in Korea.”
Hyo also clarified that she keeps forgetting that the members invited her every time, but her schedules usually didn’t match. She would later forget about it, but after seeing their photos, the idol would wonder why they didn’t ask her to join them when they did in the first place.

However, the “Discord” rumor that Hyoyeon wanted to build finally came to fruition when Sooyoung revealed that she intentionally didn’t invite her to YoonA’s birthday party.
Hyoyeon hilariously exploded in frustration and complained:
“I thought my memory was wrong. Why did you girls go out without me?!”
Sooyoung, satisfied with Hyo’s reaction, explained:
“Because the four of us got together for my birthday. But when you’re trying to get eight people together, it’s really hard to match schedules, and just trying to check everyone’s availability takes up too much time.
But with four people, it’s much easier. Since it was YoonA’s birthday and we were going to see each other again soon, I thought it was okay. And when the four of us ate together, we agreed to meet there again next time before we parted ways.”

Hyoyeon then jokingly used Seohyun and Taeyeon’s names and said that they also wondered why it always had to be the same four members, when in reality she was the one who was truly curious about it. She added:
“Okay, have fun without us.”
In defense of Sooyoung:
“When we first met, we asked everyone. And those who were available met. Then we said, ‘Let’s meet again next time,’ and that’s how it happened. It wasn’t planned from the beginning that just the four of us would meet.”
Hearing this, Hyoyeon made a sign and said without thinking:
“With so many members, it’s inevitable that we’ll split up.”
