On October 29, 2024, this was reported MOVES would have removed the executive responsible for the controversial internal documents. The principally responsible manager was Kang Myung Seok from Weverse’s media team.
He would have been removed from office following a previous report.

It was later revealed by industry insiders that he had supposedly only been removed from his role on the Weverse Media Contents team, but was still very much working at the company. According to reports, he was transferred to the “People’s Room” department, which oversees part of the human resources and takes care of the company’s staff.
Netizens were quick to call out HYBE for their media play, claiming that although he was removed from his role, he was still working for HYBE.
