On October 29, HYBE expressed: “We are grateful for the Court’s wise decision. With this ruling, HYBE will focus on normalizing ADOR, advancing our multi-label system, and supporting our artists’ activities.”
That day, the 50 Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon) rejected Min Hee-jin’s request for an injunction against HYBE. A dismissal means the court concludes the case without addressing the merits because the legal requirements are not met.
Previously in April, HYBE accused Min Hee-jin of breach of trust, alleging that she attempted to usurp ADOR’s management rights. In August, ADOR’s internal board fired Min from his CEO position and appointed Kim Joo-young, HYBE’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), as the new CEO. However, Min filed for an injunction on September 13, requesting a shareholder meeting and his reinstatement to the board.
