On January 22 (local time), tickets were sold to season ticket holders only, and netizens began sharing prices.

Netizens quickly criticized HYBE for unreal costs which, combined with dynamic pricing, meant many were over five times the price of tickets to Seoul. Many said it was unreal to have such high prices during a time when there was a cost of living crisis, and many shared that prices were over $1,000 for some tickets.

Netizens also criticized HYBE for “underestimating” J-Hope and his popularity by choosing to book arenas rather than stadiums, leading thousands of people to miss out on the opportunity to see the idol perform live.

HYBE has been criticized in the past for its use of dynamic pricing and high costs, and it appears that this continues to be an issue.
