MOVES is under fire again following allegations that the company misrepresented Behind the scenes Jungkook‘s words regarding the ongoing conflict with the ex I LOVE IT CEO Min Hee Jin engaging NewJeans.
The controversy began when Jungkook shared two posts on Instagram, which many interpreted as a way to show support for the girl group in their dispute with parent label HYBE. While Jungkook’s posts didn’t directly mention NewJeans, his captions — “Artists are not guilty” AND “Don’t use them” – were seen as a response to the chaotic situation.

However, a new report from Yonhap TV News (YNT) raised concerns about the company’s response. According to the report, BIGHIT failed to confirm whether Jungkook himself used the word “shield,” leading to speculation that the agency may be manipulating his message to respond to Min Hee Jin.

Many fans and netizens are now accusing HYBE of distorting Jungkook’s intentions, claiming that the company may be using his posts to defend itself, while subtly criticizing the former ADOR CEO. Yonhap’s report has sparked outrage online, with people accusing the agency of lying and putting words in Jungkook’s mouth.
The situation has only fueled distrust towards the company, with some claiming that HYBE has in the past used BTS as a shield in its own business matters.
