The latest episode of MBC’s entertainment program “Radio Star” aired on September 18, featuring guests Kim Chang-ok, Solbi, Hwasa, Lee Moo-jin and Park Seo-jin.
Hwasa came to Radio Star for the first time in a year. When asked why she came to the show, she said honestly, “I’m back.”
Hwasa said: “Psy oppa says there’s a Jinx from Radio Star. During ‘Gangnam Style’, his armpit was sweating too much and the song was a hit. That’s why he tells me to appear on ‘Radio Star’ every time I come back.”
Host Kim Gu-ra also mentioned Psy, the CEO of her agency, to Hwasa and asked: “Is there a conflict of opinion between you two? Do I think you get along?” and Hwasa said: “There is no conflict of opinion. Psy speaks first and that is exactly what I think in my head. If there is a conflict, I will tell him my honest thoughts.”
Hwasa added: “There were many songs to choose from as a title. But I felt like something was missing, so I decided to reject them all. When I said that something was missing, they (the company) immediately agreed.”
According to Hwasa, the title song “NA” was a bit disappointing at first. Hwasa said, “I liked it, but when I said something was missing, they replaced the whole melody the next day and played it for me. They are so dedicated.”
