On February 20, the world premiere of the latest Hong Sang-Soco film, “What that nature tells you”, was held in Berlin, Germany. Kim Min-Hee participated in the film as production director.
The film follows the story of a 30-year-old poet, Dong-Hwa, who unexpectedly visits the house of his lover, Jun-Hee, leading to a series of events. The actors have Sung-Guk, Kwon Hae-Hyo and Jo Yoon-Hee, who often appeared in the previous works of Hong Sang-See, perform the main roles.
The premiere was attended by Hong Sang-Soco and the main cast. Kim Min-Hee, who according to what was reported soon, was absent. However, Hong Sang-Soo mentioned it directly during the press conference.
When asked about the film production process, Hong Sang-Soo replied, “I have colleagues. There are three, including my “production manager” Kim Min-Hee and with the operator of the Boom microphone, which makes four of them. The filming period was three weeks, with the actual shots that take place from seven to eight days. “
The relationship between Hong Sang-Soco and Kim Min-Hee, which began as an extramarital deal, has aroused new disputes following relationships that a child expect this spring. On February 19, Kim Min-Hee was spotted at the start for Germany with a visibly pregnant belly.
In the meantime, attention is growing on the fact that Hong Sang-Soo will win the gold bear at the Berlin International Film Festival this year. Previously he received the prize in 2022 for “The News’s Film”, sharing the stage with Kim Min-Hee at the time.
