Despite netizens’ excitement, religious groups have recently begun to protest, loudly CJeS For “support the production of a drama that glorifies and encourages homosexuality.”. They demand the cancellation of K-Drama.
Inspect the Korea Content Association as the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture wastes taxpayers’ money to support a homosexual drama!

Thanks to Love in a Big City’s parent organization reporting the drama and receiving a barrage of complaints from related departments, all official trailers were eventually removed. It was 9 days before the drama started, and I couldn’t sleep all night because I was so anxious about the ridiculous situation of not being able to promote anything. I thought I was used to this after working as a writer for 8 years. pic.twitter.com/yLTuhc2kTc

Due to a certain organization targeting the drama ‘Love in the Big City’ and the wave of complaints filed with the relevant department, we had to remove all official trailers. We’re only nine days away from the drama’s premiere, and we’re in a ridiculous situation where we can’t promote it at all. I’m so frustrated that I couldn’t sleep a wink all night. I thought I was used to this sort of thing after eight years as a writer.

Hand. The ugly face of hate is something I can never get used to, no matter how many times I experience it. I’m looking for ways to resume advertising. Whatever happens, we will definitely premiere on October 21st. Everyone, please enjoy it to the fullest! In the end we will win!
This must be a sign that this is going to be a huge thing.

Netizens are disappointed that TVING has succumbed to pressure from homophobic groups. They believe we shouldn’t worry about homophobic censorship in 2024.

The protest took place in front of the TVING & CJ building. They even threatened to boycott all CJ products if Love In The Big City continued to air. TVING appears to have tried to quell the protest by dismantling the trailers. But these people want the entire series canceled
