Jisoo’s fashion choice in her latest press conference received divided opinions from netizens.

On January 8, Korean netizens gathered in an online forum to discuss Jisoo’s latest look at the press conference of her upcoming zombie drama Newtopia. The author (OP) uploaded several press photos showing Jisoo in a purple top by DIOR.

OP claimed that the clothing cost 6.7 million won (equivalent to $4.5 thousand in US dollars) and that the design did not match its eye-popping price.

“How is this 6.7 million won? ($4.5k USD), suddenly it doesn’t look good,” they shared. “Jisoo is cute, of course.”

Netizens agreed with the author, and many pointed out the outfit’s lack of style. However, many saw the bright side claiming that the darkness of the top was “overshadowed” by Jisoo’s gorgeous images.

“Seriously, Jisoo saved him, her face does it all,” one netizen noted.

A second commented: “The dress sucks even without seeing the price.”

Meanwhile, Jisoo’s acting skills were also criticized following the release of Newtopia trailer. A portion of the forum was frustrated with the idol’s acting sequences, while others, however, were more forgiving due to how unfair it was to judge Jisoo’s skills based on the trailer alone.
