Fans of K-pop boy group SHINee were hit with a wave of nostalgia this week when they saw photos of Jung Yoo-geun’s “baby” SHINee from the 2010 parenting show Hi sweetie surfaced online on the occasion of his 18th birthday. The images quickly sparked a buzz on social media, with many stunned by how much the now-adult teenager looks like SHINee member Minho.
Jung Yoo-geun’s official Instagram, run by her mother, rarely updates. But for his birthday, he shared a heartfelt message and a recent photo of the teen wearing a mask. “Happy birthday. Let’s go have something nice to eat after the exam,” he wrote.

He didn’t disappear from the entertainment world after that Hi sweetie either: He appeared in the 2012 drama To the Beautiful You (with Minho) and the 2014 series Iron Man.
Although he is currently focused on his studies, Yoo-geun occasionally appears in dramas, leaving fans hopeful for more acting projects in the future.
