On January 7, Kim Ji Young uploaded a video titled “I have good news to share” to her YouTube channel. In the video, she announced both her upcoming wedding in February and her pregnancy, receiving warm congratulations from fans. She also revealed that her fiancé proposed to her during a trip to Portugal last October and shared footage of that special moment.
While discussing wedding plans, Kim Ji Young explained that her fiancé was sitting in front of her during filming. When she greeted viewers with just her voice, Kim Ji Young made clear the ongoing curiosity surrounding her identity.
“I asked him if he wanted to show his face, but he said he’s shy. The mosaic is not my decision,” he explained. True to her words, her fiancé’s face was blurred during the proposal footage, and his appearance was also hidden in couple photos shared on his personal social media accounts.
Kim Ji Young later jokingly asked, “It’s okay to show your face in the wedding video, right?” Her boyfriend quietly agreed, eliciting laughter and smiles from Kim Ji Young.
