Recently, animal protection organization Dear Lay shared a heartfelt post on its official SNS account, calling him a “nice person”. The organization revealed that on a freezing weekend in January, Yoo Seung Ho personally visited the shelter to spend time with the rescued cats.
Photos published alongside the post show the actor warmly interacting with the abandoned cats and diligently cleaning the facility. From cleaning baskets to preparing meals and dusting every corner, Yoo Seung Ho volunteered during the visit.
The shelter also revealed an even more poignant detail.
“Last year he gave us some food supplies. While we are constantly struggling with hospital bills, he also helped us pay off some of our outstanding veterinary bills.”
Although Yoo Seung Ho asked them not to publicize his actions, the organization expressed gratitude, writing:

Over the years, Yoo Seung Ho has consistently volunteered at shelters, and in 2025, he donated 2.5 tons of cat food, further solidifying his commitment to animal welfare.
