The Exid Hani member will share a deeply personal side of herself in the episode of 14 July of “Dr. Oh’s Stay” by MBN. Continuing from the episode of the previous week, Hani revealed how the keyword “perception” has defined a large part of her life and how it may have been misunderstood.
During the episode, Hani was visibly anxious, with a constant height and appearing restless. He explained “Since I was young, I could always perceive the emotions of others”describing a life lived by trying to anticipate the feelings of others before hers. But then his surprising confession came: “Recently, I realized that I could be terrible in reading people.”
Hani has attributed much of his emotional conflict to the pressure of being under the eyes of the public. “Being in a profession in which everything is on display, where what I do is so much … expectations have become overwhelming, especially after becoming viral through the Fancam.”
He also spoke of having let go of control, sharing how he took his free time to travel, including a stay in India, to reconnect with herself. “I think this time I was given to prepare to do the things I really want”, he said. Dr. Oh Eun-Young offered an unexpected vision: “You miss the most important type of perceptivity.”
The renowned psychiatrist observed that while Hani could be hyper-care of others, it could ignore deeper emotional signals, it is the real intentions of his and others. This comment raised curiosity among the spectators on what Dr. Oh sees as the true essence of perceptivity.
