On February 20, Han Hyo Joo posted photos on her social media account along with a heartfelt message expressing gratitude for her parents.
He wrote:
“A birthday dinner prepared by my dad. These days, my dad prepares all three meals a day for my mom, and she says she’s the happiest she’s ever been in her life. Seeing my parents happy makes me feel like my long-cherished wish has finally come true. A day full of love. Just grateful. Every single side dish was prepared by dad. I thought only mom was good at cooking, but dad is even better… But wait, why am I…”
The photos revealed a hearty homemade dish that included crab marinated in soy sauce, grilled fish, various side dishes and seaweed soup, a traditional Korean birthday dish. Han Hyo Joo added jokingly as she stirred rice into a crab shell, “There is love here too.”
His father’s thoughtful gestures didn’t end there. He continued:
“My dad even bought dessert in my favorite flavor because I eat a Baskin Robbins a day… He should treat mommy at least half as well as he treats me… haha — no, he’s actually so romantic these days. I love you.”
She also showed off flowers given to her by her parents, captioning the photo: “Beautiful flower from my dad and mom.”
Han Hyo Joo, born on February 22, 1987, turns 38 this year. His father is known to be a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel. She recently shared that her mother made her senior modeling debut.
