On March 12, Han Ga In uploaded a new video titled “What if Han Ga In, whose face is the most interesting, tries the Shanghai Wanghong makeup?” on his personal YouTube channel “Free Woman Han Ga In.” The video showed the actress traveling to Shanghai with her channel’s production team.
During the trip, Han Ga In decided to try the trend “Wanghong Makeup”, a bold and glamorous beauty style popular among Chinese influencers. The actress explained that she wanted to challenge herself after many subscribers asked to see her with more dramatic makeup.
A makeup artist who remembered Han Ga In from her appearance in the drama Witch Yoo Hee she carefully created a stunning transformation, styling her with elaborate makeup and accessories from head to toe. Han Ga In also seemed surprised by the result.

“This is the ultimate level of glamour. It doesn’t get more glamorous than this,” he said. “I think I can graduate from this kind of look now.”
After completing the look with a particularly elaborate hair accessory, Han Ga In exclaimed: “Without a doubt, this is the most extravagant hair accessory I’ve ever worn.”
The production staff and local Chinese employees observing the transformation could not hide their admiration, repeatedly saying: “You’re so beautiful.”
Although she was already known for her natural beauty, the dramatic makeup and elaborate style made Han Ga In look almost like a painting. He later posed for photos at Shanghai’s Yuyuan Garden, fully embracing the Wanghong-inspired concept as he followed the directions of a local photographer.
However, removing the elaborate style proved to be just as challenging as putting it on. Han Ga In joked, “Taking off my hair accessories is no joke. My head is so heavy that people with tortoiseshell neck syndrome or neck disc problems shouldn’t try it.”

After finally removing everything, he sighed in relief. “It’s so refreshing. I feel alive again,” he said.
Even taking off my makeup took a lot more effort than usual. “It took three times longer than my normal routine. I usually use about two cotton pads with eye makeup remover, but today I used fifteen,” he added laughing.
