Jinyoung may be making his long-awaited return to the small screen following his military discharge. THE Member of GOT7 is currently in talks for a new romantic drama which could also feature a leading role Bo Young Park.
Park Jinyoung is considering a new romantic drama with Park Bo Young
On September 26, it was reported that Jinyoung was cast as the male lead in the upcoming drama “Unknown Seoul” (literal title). In response to this news, Jinyoung’s agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed that he had received an offer for the role and is “reviewing it positively.”
“Unknown Seoul” is a romantic drama centered on twin sisters who live completely different lives. As the plot develops, the sisters switch identities through a series of lies, leading them on a journey to discover self, love and the true meaning of life. It also promises an intriguing mix of romance and emotional depth and has already garnered significant attention thanks to its high-profile production team.
The drama is written by Lee Kangthe writer behind it “Youth of May”and directed by Park Shin Woo, known for his work on popular dramas such as “Encounter,” “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay,” and “Don’t You Dare Dream (Jealousy Incarnate)”. The drama boasts a strong creative team, further increasing fans’ excitement.
In addition to Jinyoung, actress Bo Young Park is in talks to play twin sisters, adding even more star power to the drama. If Jinyoung accepts the offer, he will reportedly play I have soa character who has a deep bond with one of the sisters, since school.
Jinyoung, currently serving in the military, is expected to be discharged on November 7, 2024. Fans eagerly await his return to acting, and his potential role in “Unknown Seoul” is already generating excitement for his post-military projects.
