GOT7 finally announce their return date in the most iconic way possible

Ahgases (also known as iGOT7, GOT7 fans) anticipated the official news regarding a GOT7 return for months from “spoiler king” BamBam stated that the group would return in 2025. He also stated that the album had already been completed and they were just waiting for the members Jay B AND Jinyoung return from military service.

Now, both Jay B and Jinyoung have been discharged from mandatory service. So, fans have been waiting…

Yet, all members, even BamBam, have been “hush” about a potential comeback lately. On the other hand, Jinyoung may have accidentally released a spoiler as soon as he returned. And he did it in English, so there were no misunderstandings.

He, along with Yugyeom, held a live broadcast to celebrate his farewell. Marco Tuanwho joined as a spectator, he commented, attempting to do damage control after Jinyoung ruined their comeback.

Now, both GOT7 leader Jay B AND our “spoiler king”, BamBam, has confirmed the return and its date!

Jay B recently held his solo concert, [𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗘 : 𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗔𝗗] IN SEOUL. Its members, Youngjae AND Marco Tuan they were there, supporting him.

With them in attendance, Jay B announced that GOT7 would return in 2025, as Ahgases hoped. She confirmed the return date would be January 20, despite previously teasing February.

BamBam was finally given the okay to announce his return after months of silence. He shared a funny edit to a billboard meme that read: “GOT7 is coming back on January 20th and everyone needs to know about it, so I bought this billboard.”

BamBam also confessed to having “stolen” his post. At least it’s honest!

Ahga loves how “organic” GOT7’s comeback is so far. They couldn’t have announced it in a more iconic way. Fans appreciated that the members announced it themselves rather than through a company statement or press release.

This will be GOT7’s first comeback in nearly three years, after releasing their self-titled album, their first since leaving JYP Entertainment on May 23, 2022.
