“Good Partner” conquers Asia and climbs the region’s charts

According to Viu, Asia’s largest regional OTT platform, SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Good Partner” ranked first in Indonesia and Hong Kong, second in Malaysia and Singapore, fifth in Thailand, and eighth in the Philippines in Viu’s weekly ranking for the fourth week of August (August 19-25), when episodes 8 and 9 were released.

“Good Partner” is also enjoying high popularity in Korea. Episode 11 recorded ratings of 15.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 15.4% nationwide, according to Nielsen Korea, securing the first place in its time slot.

Meanwhile, “Good Partner” is a cold and warm human courtroom drama about Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Nara), a famous lawyer whose “calling” is divorce, and Han Yu-ri (played by Nam Ji-hyun), a rookie lawyer who is tackling her “first” divorce case. The show has captivated domestic audiences with its solid and realistic storytelling that maintains constant tension, its fresh subject matter that resonates with current issues and evokes empathy, and most importantly, the excellent acting and chemistry of the cast.

Episode 11 chronicles the beginning of Cha Eun-kyung and Han Yu-ri’s journey towards independence in their respective roles.
