On September 6, Kwak Shi-yang wrote: “Yes, that’s true. I’m sorry. Cheon Hwan-seo is a bad guy.” He continued, “Please judge only by my acting. Go ‘Good Partner’! I did it because I was asked to do it.

Kwak Shi-yang appeared in the SBS Friday and Saturday drama ‘Good Partner’ on September 6 and 7, playing Cheon Hwan-seo, the president of the Cheon Medical Foundation. He played a husband who was a victim of domestic violence and tortured and assaulted his wife, leading to her death, which shocked viewers.

He continued his evil behavior by strangling and threatening Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Nara). Eventually, his character was sentenced to 15 years in prison, giving a sense of satisfaction to the audience.

Previously, Ji Seung-hyun, who also played an unfaithful husband, posted a public apology video. He said, “I am truly sorry. First, I sincerely apologize to Cha Eun-kyung, who was hurt by my infidelity in the drama. When I say ‘sincere,’ I mean deeply sincere.”

He continued, “I also offer my heartfelt apologies to Choi Sa-ra, my partner in the drama’s infidelity. I committed the unforgivable act of ‘living a double life.'”

Finally, Ji Seung-hyun added, “I also feel sorry for the viewers. I understand that there were strong reactions because of my performance, and some said they felt like they were going to suffocate. I apologize for that, too.”
