YouTube channel on February 27th Sebasi’s speeches uploaded a video titled “A Story Revealed for the First Time: The Thought Goo Hye-sun Had Right After Jumping.” In the lecture, Goo Hye-sun candidly shared a painful chapter from her past.
He confessed “There was a time when I was going through something extremely difficult. I had thoughts like, ‘I really want to die.'”
One day, during that time, while he was driving, he saw parachutes descending in the distance. People were skydiving. Acting on impulse, she decided to try skydiving herself.
Goo Hye-sun recalled, “Seven of us got on the helicopter and all seven were people who wanted to die.” She revealed that she took on the skydiving challenge at a time when she was emotionally exhausted.
However, the moment she was told to jump, something inside her changed.
“When they told me to jump, all my different selves were saying they wanted to live. The moment I jumped, I was saying, ‘I want to live so bad.’ During those few seconds, until my feet hit the ground, I realized that I was not someone who wanted to die.
After landing safely, she said all seven participants shared the same realization.
“All seven of us said, ‘We’re so happy we survived.’”

Goo Hye-sun continued to reflect on how that experience transformed her mindset. He shared, “I truly believe that things become what you believe in. Instead of relying on others, you have to believe in yourself and become your own best friend.”
He also talked about accepting uncertainty in life. “In the unforeseeable future, I may break again. You can succeed and then fall apart and stumble and shatter. But I think about how new and beautiful it can be.”
Her honest confession garnered attention for its raw vulnerability, as she revealed how a single impulsive decision helped her rediscover her will to live and reshape her perspective on hardship.
